The standard American college offers an alternate American-based curriculum which starts from the early preschool and up to Grade 12. Consequently each states within the United States sets an alternate curriculum standard, each college district within a state shall have separate curriculum standards prepared in place. For an American elementary school, it ranges grades from the decreased position kindergarten and up to higher grades grade six and 6. The elementary college usually focuses on corporate interaction, corporate exercises and games, and teaches the basics for example alphabet letters, numbers, and reading as well. When a child passes elementary school, he shall be sent straight to middle college that is taught in 3 different categories: educational and vocational.
Students who do better in vocational occupations shall be taught simple vocational skills while students who possess a critical aptitude toward educational work shall be taught multiple high college and college prerequisites. High college returns subsequent to middle school, and generally, every student should obtain a total of 26 credits sequential to earn an above college diploma. Between the subjects which are counted along these credits with English, maths, science, history, PE physical education, arts, and language optional or if offered. Perhaps the greatest thing about an American college lies in its advanced placement courses AP class. The advanced placement courses are mostly reserved for students with outstanding academic records.
The advanced placement program basically means a curriculum within the United States that is being sponsored by the College Board that offers standardized courses to high college students with great academic points and has the potential to be equivalent to undergraduate courses in college. Most colleges that participate within the program shall grant credit to students who obtained high enough scores on the exams to qualify. Between the current subjects regarding the AP program with Art History, Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Chinese Language and Culture, Comparative Government and Politics, English Literature and Composition, Environmental Science, French Language, Latin: Vergil, Macroeconomics, Music Theory, Physics, Psychology, Russian Language and Culture, Spanish Literature, Statistics, and World History. Many have decided to send their children to learn within the US for different reasons. Besides getting a wholesome education, there shall also be an opportunity to mingle with students and the community from most the US itself and from other regions.
This itself is a lesson on its own as it allows the children to broaden their horizons and have insights to new cultures.
